"Although we agree with the goals of improving health care quality, reducing costs, and extending coverage, the proposals on the table will not accomplish any of these goals and will in fact add to the inefficiencies and problems in the current system. Reform is needed, but let's take the time to get it right."

Who We Are

Employers for Quality Health Care has formed to positively impact discussions on national health care reform to improve access and affordability of health care coverage. Employers nationwide believe reform is necessary to address rising health care costs, improve quality and reduce the number of uninsured. While reform is essential, we must also ensure that reform efforts do not destroy nor denigrate the existing backbone of health care coverage provided to 177 million Americans through employer-sponsored plans.

Our goal is to proactively engage our members throughout the country so they become more actively involved in the health care discussions that will help shape meaningful reform for the benefit of all.
